Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

• Source obsolete components / find equivalent components for legacy customers

• Review BOMs

• Test, debug, and repair electronics

• Work as a liasion between internal PCB testers and external customers (3rd party inspectors)

• Root cause analysis/troubleshoot boards that are failing

• PCB layout

• Data entry for quoting

• SMT machine programming

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

• Associates Degree or higher

• Understanding of circuitry

• Coursework, internships/co-ops, or hands-on experience with electronics/PCBs

• Knowledge of SMT and/or through-hole rework procedures

• Ability to read and understand schematics and BOMs

• Ability and desire to work with little supervision

• Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time

• Visual acuity is required due to working with very small components

PLUS:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Experience manipulating drawings in Altium

• Gerber

• PCB troubleshooting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
