Ibis Legacy Law, LLC, a premier estate planning and probate law firm in Shaker Heights, Ohio, is looking for a full time Legal Assistant to join our growing team. We are dedicated to guiding individuals and families through life’s transitions with clarity, confidence, and care. Your Role & Responsibilities

• Answer phones, direct calls, and gather information from callers for team follow-up.
• Greet clients and create a welcoming environment.
• Sort, collect, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
• Manage inventory of office supplies.
• Proofread, print and prepare estate planning documents for signing.
• Scan documents and assemble document portfolios for clients.
• Assist attorneys, paralegals, and other staff with special projects.
• Assist attorneys who serve as Trustee or Attorney-in-Fact through record keeping.
• Prepare documents for recording with County offices.
• Draft correspondence.

Our Expectations

• Experience in a legal or administrative role (law firm experience preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality with client information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with adapting new technologies.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and collaboration are key aspects of our Firm culture.
• A positive, professional demeanor and a strong work ethic.
