Crash Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Manage test request documentation and liaise with the test facility for vehicle test preparation and test execution
- Coordinating reworks and vehicle teardown with technicians on site
- Document test set-up & observations during test preparation, execution and teardown (e.g. recording weights, collect info from test facility, preliminary CMM data checks, review initial data sets, photo & video)
- Liaise with the wider team to manage onboard equipment (sensor data collection, CAN loggers)
- Review initial data sets, initiate issue resolution, root cause analysis, maintaining Jira tickets, etc.
- Test data management (data sharing & organizing)
- Support resource planning and communicate timing updates
Qualifications;
- Minimum Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Engineering Degree, Master preferred
- 5+ years of testing/analysis experience in the automotive industry required. Experience within Electric Vehicle industry preferred
Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
