Your mission

• Deliver precision MIG and TIG welds on aluminum, stainless, carbon steel, cast iron, and other alloys
• Operate in flat, vertical, and overhead positions without compromising quality
• Follow safety protocols and established processes every step of the way
• Verify compliance with measurements using straightedges and templates
• Cut, burn, and fabricate parts; assemble, tack, and weld out
• Repair and build up worn surfaces; dismantle and size material using burning equipment
• Adapt to related tasks that keep production moving

What it takes

• High school diploma or GED; welding trade certificate preferred
• Deep understanding of welding techniques and confident equipment operation
• Background with carbon steel and aluminum; capable with stainless and cast iron
• Wire-feed welding experience
• Mechanical aptitude, including hydraulics exposure
• Layout and fabrication skills for production work
• Comfort setting up production welding and interpreting blueprints

Prove your craft

Expect a written and hands-on weld test before an offer is made. Candidates who demonstrate skill, a positive attitude, and strong aptitude may be offered a direct position.

Work setting and physical expectations

• Stand, walk, and sit for extended durations
• Navigate around operating machinery and powered industrial equipment
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Use power tools and vibrating equipment
• On-site role supporting manufacturing needs
