Our MRI department plays a critical role in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, and we are seeking a skilled Traveler MRI Technologist to join our team.

Position Summary
The Traveler MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with departmental protocols. This role requires technical expertise, precision, and a strong focus on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients, selecting accurate anatomic and technical parameters for imaging.

• Conduct patient pre-screening, scheduling, and provide education regarding MRI procedures.

• Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images to PACS, and ensure accurate documentation.

• Follow all MRI safety standards and radiation safety guidelines.

• Ensure timely submission of high-quality images with correct markers, patient data, and history.

• Monitor MRI equipment performance and promptly report potential issues or malfunctions.

• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient MRI department.

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.

• Traveler MRI Tech experience preferred.

• Proficiency in MRI imaging protocols and safety standards.

• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
