• Position: Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) / Cardiac Telemetry Nurse
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (University Circle area) — travel nursing Cleveland, Ohio
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Setting: 30-bed Telemetry Unit (9 beds flex to Step-Down Unit)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse (W2)

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license (required) — Ohio RN / Registered Nurse for travel nursing roles
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience in telemetry or step-down units
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and continuous telemetry monitoring (cardiac telemetry)
• Experience caring for post-procedural cardiac and vascular surgery patients (TAVR, cath lab, carotid, bypass) preferred
• Completion of onboarding and compliance requirements, including:
  • Skills checklist and competency exams
  • Background check and drug screen
  • Required immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement
  • Education and employment verification
  • Driver's License or State ID
  • Submission packet and compliance documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to cardiac and vascular patients, including post-procedural recovery (TAVR, cath lab, carotid, bypass)
• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly recognizing and escalating acute changes
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and document patient progress in the medical record
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members — physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and case management — to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards in a telemetry/step-down environment
