Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments License: Must have a permanent state license in hand, compact licenses are accepted Certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: - Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience, travel experience will suffice - Traveler must work at least every other holiday - An acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation is required Description: Seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position. The RN will care for patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting. There is potential to float to different units caring for the same patient population. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel assignments. Recent Med/Surg Tele experience is required as well. Permanent state license must be in hand at the time of submission. Active certifications with nothing pending are necessary for consideration. A reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for qualification. Candidates must successfully pass all required assessments during orientation. A maximum of two attempts will be given to pass both ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments. The facility has specific compliance standards that must be adhered to. All travelers must meet testing and submission requirements based on facility guidelines.
