iOS Mobile Developer

Akkodis is seeking an iOS Mobile Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH. You will bring over a decade of hands‑on iOS development expertise, a critical qualification for delivering high‑performance mobile applications.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IOS Mobile Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and other modern iOS frameworks.
• Build intuitive, responsive mobile UIs—from layouts to animations—and integrate REST APIs to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Lead system design, application development, and troubleshooting activities to ensure application performance, operational stability, and scalability.
• Implement thorough unit and functional testing using tools such as XCTest, Mockito, or Espresso to maintain code quality and reliability.
• Develop secure, production‑ready code and optimize app performance through effective use of multithreading, data structures, and platform best practices.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver multi‑tenant, localized mobile solutions and support continuous improvement through automation and modern development techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands‑on experience in native iOS mobile application development.
• Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, and REST API integration with proven ability to design responsive, animation‑rich mobile interfaces.
• Demonstrated experience in automated unit and functional testing, operational stability, and producing secure, high‑quality production‑ready iOS code.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
