Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including regular cleaning and stocking of restrooms.
• Dispose of accumulated rubbish throughout the facility and empty garbage cans in all areas of the plant.
• Perform debris removal by collecting and disposing of steel shavings, swarf, and other metal debris generated in production areas.
• Clean and maintain equipment and machinery to remove oils, grease, and contaminants, supporting safe and efficient operation.
• Report any building issues such as leaking toilets, faucets, or burnt out light bulbs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform outdoor maintenance tasks such as removing snow or ice from walk paths and sidewalks in winter, and upkeep of grounds including grass cutting, weed pulling, and debris removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager or other Supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Strong ability to consistently improve skills.
• Physical ability to work an eight-hour shift and lift up to 75 pounds at times.
