Trauma Registrar

Ranstad is seeking a healthcare candidate with experience in the below. This position is not registering patients for the ED - this position is inputting data within a trauma registry database. The candidate must be able to navigate TraumaBase and have experiencing inputting data for patients in this registry using AIS coding - 3-5 years in Trauma Registry (TraumaBase) - 2 years experience in AIS coding within Trauma Registration Databases - Computer skilled: *Must be able to type 20 WPM *Must be familiar with Word and Excel

salary: $33.32 - $33.33 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

1. Maintenance of Trauma Registry
• Identify trauma patients for entry into the Trauma Registry
• Locates patients with ED admissions, direct admissions, transfers, discharges
• Abstracts data from charts that is required for the Trauma registry including ICD-10 diagnosis, procedures, ISS/AIS, and other information required by NTDB/TQIP/NORTR
• Performs data searches, report as requested in the Trauma Registry
• Compiles statistical information, analyzes data, and audits for research and other projects
• Develops and generates numerous periodical reports to monitor quality indicators, summarize demographics of trauma patient population, and projects future trends
• Maintains strict confidentiality of patient information
• Assists with preparing reports for Trauma Committee
