Various shifts available! Pay ranges from $25-$32 depending on experience.

Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and electrical background, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Repair or replace defective components and systems to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs Support equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, conveyors, and pumps
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts, as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
