Sales manager sales leader growth and team

Ohio-based company backed by a Fortune 500 corporation is seeking a Sales Manager — a motivated, results-driven leader ready to elevate a high-performing sales organization.
This is a salaried position ($100K+) plus performance incentives for someone who thrives on building relationships, driving activity in the field, and leading by example.

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager will oversee and energize the sales force, ensuring consistent field activity, customer engagement, and performance tracking. You’ll be responsible for setting the pace, driving results, and reporting key activity metrics daily to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example in the field — driving sales activity and maintaining visibility with customers and reps.
• Coach, motivate, and hold sales representatives accountable for achieving individual and team goals.
• Track and report daily sales activity, pipeline performance, and closing ratios using the company CRM.
• Conduct sales meetings and one-on-one performance reviews.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and process alignment.
• Prepare and review estimates, quotes, and bids with team members.
• Maintain exceptional communication and organization across multiple ongoing projects.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in home improvement, construction, or B2C environments.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proficient with Google Drive, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems and KPI tracking.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and detail-oriented.
