AI/ Gen AI developer

Akkodis is seeking an AI/ Gen AI developer for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. You will lead the architecture, design, and production integration of AI/ML models while guiding teams and collaborating with enterprise stakeholders.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AI/ Gen AI Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of AI / GenAI solutions, integrating machine learning models into production systems and enterprise applications.
• Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate AI frameworks, ML libraries, cloud services, and tools to meet business and technical requirements.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end AI project lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, testing, deployment, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with data engineers and architects to manage structured and unstructured data, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and scalability.
• Assess and monitor model performance, bias, and explainability, ensuring responsible and ethical AI practices.
• Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration while effectively communicating complex AI concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related technical field (master’s degree preferred).
• 8–10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 2+ years of hands‑on experience in AI / GenAI and machine learning solutions.
• Strong expertise in Python‑based ML frameworks, machine learning algorithms, and working knowledge of Java/Scala, SQL, and both structured and unstructured data.
• Proven experience leading AI architecture and model deployment in cloud environments, with a solid understanding of model performance metrics, bias, explainability, and stakeholder communication.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
