Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. Candidates must have strong expertise in test strategy, SQL, and leading testing teams in Agile environments.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead job responsibilities include:

• Lead the creation of test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases while ensuring adherence to testing standards and best practices.

• Oversee end‑to‑end test execution, including ETL testing using source‑to‑target mapping, SAS program validation, and SQL‑based data verification.

• Manage defect triage, drive daily defect management calls, and provide detailed status reporting to stakeholders across onshore/offshore teams.

• Utilize Jira to track test progress, create dashboards, and ensure transparent reporting of testing metrics and quality trends.

• Guide and mentor testing teams in Agile ceremonies, enabling effective collaboration, sprint planning, and quality delivery.

• Coordinate across distributed teams to ensure aligned workflows, effective communication, and timely delivery of testing activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8–12 years of total experience with a minimum of 3 years serving as a Testing Lead on large‑scale projects.

• Strong expertise in test strategy, test planning, defect management, SQL, ETL testing, and Agile ways of working.

• Proven experience leading onshore/offshore teams using Jira for test tracking and reporting, with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour
