Position Overview
Our client, a prominent Fortune 500 retail leader, is seeking a full-time Email Developer to join their team. This role offers a flexible work schedule (e.g., 9-5, 10-7) and requires onsite presence four days per week (M-TH) at their downtown Cincinnati office. In addition to a competitive salary, the position includes a performance bonus of up to $13,000, equity potential of $3,700, and clear pathways for career advancement within the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an email service provider (ESP), developing responsive email templates, and implementing best practices for segmentation, personalization, and deliverability.Relocation Assistance
Relocation support may be available for the right candidate. If applicable, please indicate your willingness to relocate in your application. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and deploy email and push notification campaigns using an ESP platform, ensuring accuracy in coding, tagging, and testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective communications
Maintain and enhance email frameworks and reusable components for scalability and efficiency
Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations and accessibility standards
Troubleshoot rendering issues across email clients and devices
Support the setup and execution of automated and triggered campaigns
Qualifications
- Proven experience with an ESP platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar)
- Any experience with email marketing reputation and list hygiene tools (Litmus, Return Path).
- B2C experience
- Thorough knowledge of email and channel regulations; thorough knowledge of CAN SPAM Act.
- Strong development skills in digital communications.
- Familiarity with email development best practices.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS for coding emails.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Available during non-business hours to be on call on a rotational basis
