General Laborer – Warehouse / Packaging
Starting pay - $17.00/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support warehouse operations with a primary focus on packaging and material handling. This role involves preparing, packing, and moving products for shipment while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Candidates must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Package products accurately and efficiently according to company standards
- Prepare materials for shipment, including labeling, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Perform repetitive tasks related to packing, sorting, and staging orders
- Inspect products and packaging for quality and damage
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Capable of performing repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Previous warehouse or packaging experience is a plus
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Work Environment
Warehouse setting with exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Team-oriented environment with performance expectations.
