Duties and Responsibilities:

A Muratori machine operator is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of Muratori brand industrial machinery within a manufacturing or production setting. They ensure machines are set up correctly, run smoothly, and produce high-quality outputs according to specifications and safety regulations.

Machine Operation and Production: Set up and operate Muratori machinery according to instructions and production schedules.

Monitor machine performance throughout production cycles to maintain quality and efficiency.

Load and unload materials and products from the machines as needed. Make minor adjustments and calibrations to ensure accurate product measurements and specifications are met.

Quality Control: Perform regular inspections and quality checks on products to identify defects and ensure they meet standards. Maintain high-quality standards and minimize waste during the production process.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve minor malfunctions and production-related issues with the machinery. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication to ensure optimal machine performance and longevity. Report major malfunctions or defects to supervisors or maintenance teams.

Safety and Documentation: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Document production data, maintenance records, and any issues or observations. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous experience operating machinery, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment, is preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of how machines work.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, or instructions. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic computer literacy for machine control panels and data entry.

Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials (typically up to 40-50 pounds), and perform repetitive movements.

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures relevant to machinery operation. Specific certifications related to machinery operation, forklift operation, or safety (e.g., OSHA certification) may be preferred or required by some employers.

Working conditions Primarily in a manufacturing or factory setting. Fast-paced environment focused on meeting production goals. May involve standing or sitting for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Potential exposure to loud noise, vibrations, and variations in temperature.

Hours: 6:00 am - 4:30 (Monday - Friday) 6:00 am - Noon on Saturday (overtime)

Pay Rate $18.50
