OhioHealth is seeking a Program Director for our Family Medicine Residency at O’Bleness Hospital. Description:

1. Program Director provides teaching, clinical, and administrative leadership for the residency program
2. Full time position with 0.7 Administrative (minimum), 0.3 Clinical (precepting residents and managing a small patient panel)
3. Ensures a safe clinical learning environment and program compliance with ACGME guidelines
4. The ideal candidate is board-certified in Family Medicine who has a passion for teaching and has an interest in leadership development and mentoring residents
5. Collaborative work within the OhioHealth Graduate Medical Education system
6. Residency program has a strong relationship with Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine with main campus being within 1 mile

Requirements:

1. DO strongly prefer (MD considered with commitment to osteopathic culture)
2. Medical education leadership and strategy experience
3. Strong relationship-building, mentoring, and communication skills
4. Collaborative, visible, systems-oriented leadership style
5. Greater than 3 years of teaching/administrative experience, clinically active within the past 3 years with previous leadership experience
