Front Desk and Patient Care Chiropractic Administrative Assistant

As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will be part of a cohesive team that supports our mission to help our patients achieve optimal health and wellness by providing exceptional, individualized care. Responsibilities:

• Assist our patients in our Physical Therapy department by learning Ultrasound, Electric Muscle Stimulation, Cold Laser, and Traction therapies
• Schedule patients for multiple doctors and appointment types by phone and in-person

• Enter paperwork, request imaging reports, and collect insurance information
• Collecting copays, deductibles, and balances of daily deposits
• Learn a general understanding of multiple health insurances
• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating financial information
• Participate in weekly training and monthly staff meetings

Requirements:

• Attention to detail
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-moving environment and work well under pressure
• Able to work at least 1-2 Saturdays mornings per month
• Outstanding Customer Service skills
• High School Diploma
• Hours include part-time or full time 22 to 40 hours per week

• Previous experience with a medical office/chiropractic office/physical therapy office
• Knowledge of medical terminology and Chiropractic care
• GXMO License
• Experience with Insurance verification
• Experience with Insurance Billing
• Bookkeeping experience
