About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Cardiac Stepdown RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44140!

Shift:

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3×12‑hour shifts per week
• Floating possible to J1‑2, J33, and ED (same patient population)
• Works every other holiday

‍⚕️ Responsibilities:

• Provide neuro stepdown level nursing care to adult patients
• Monitor neuro status, vitals, and early signs of deterioration
• Manage drips, post‑neuro procedure care, stroke protocols, and ECG monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary neuro teams
• Document in electronic health records
• Pass ECG rhythm test & safeMedicate test during orientation
• Follow Cleveland Clinic safety, quality, and float guidelines

Requirements

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of PERMANENT (staff) experience in the specialty (Neuro Stepdown) before traveling
• 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience required
  Travel experience is accepted
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required

License Requirements

• Active Permanent Ohio RN License
  OR
• Active Compact RN License

License must be in hand at time of submission

Certification Requirements

All must be active (no pending items):

• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS
• NIHSS
