Responsibilities

Howmet Aerospace is looking for an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our team in Cleveland, OH. This role manages relationships between customers and Howmet Aerospace through day-to-day tasks as listed below.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides timely, professional communication and service to assigned customers using appropriate processes and communication channels
  • Qualifies leads from prospective customers through intercompany communication
  • Receives, responds to, and routes requests for quotations
  • Receives, enters, and edits sales orders accurately based on company procedures
  • Answers inquiries regarding open orders
  • Collaboratively works with Account Manager and Credit Department to collect Accounts Receivable
  • Receives, responds to, and routes requests for technical information, material certifications, and quality concerns
  • Continuously seeks improved techniques for performing job duties and engages with peers to learn and share best practices as they emerge
  • Maintains full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with the company Code of Conduct
  • Ensures that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of work experience in sales, account management, and/or customer service in equivalent industry
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Possess organizational skills and have a high attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently and effectively collaborate with others
  • Strong computer and business software skills, with an emphasis on Excel


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of work experience in sales, account management, and/or customer service in equivalent industry
  • Understanding of metals processing, basic supply chain management, and general manufacturing.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.


This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
