Job Title: Tape Operator

Location: Frazeysburg, OH

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4:15pm-2:45am

• (2) 15 min paid breaks and (1) 30 min unpaid lunch

Pay Rate: Starting up to $19.25/hr * 10% Shift Differential = $21+/hr
*This position also includes opportunity for quarterly wage increase

Job Summary:

Ideal candidate should have manufacturing experience with machine operation or maintenance experience. Candidate must be comfortable working in production as part of a team with specific production goals. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to critically think. Previous work experience in a fast-paced industrial environment is required. The person selected will be working directly with other members of the production team, safety, quality and engineering.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

• Machine operator and/or machine maintenance experience
• Ability to learn and follow work instructions
• Perform and adhere to Lock Out Tag Out safety standards
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and to independently troubleshoot
• Ability to read and apply customer and Ridge print specifications
• Assist with data entry and management through ERP system
• Perform Quality Inspections
• Ability to learn HMI controls and functions
• Basic Machine startup and shutdown
• Loading and Managing Kreels
• Spidle setup and Staging
• Rewind Loading and unloading
• Meet / Exceed production standards
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Self-Motivated
• Follows Company safety and department policies and procedures
• Maintains neat and clean work environment following 5S methodology
• Makes recommendations to continually improve processes
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Proven commitment to quality complaince and productivity
• Two months job related experience required, including machine operator / maintenance
• Ability to identify ultrasonic, thermal, electrical and pneumatic concerns
• Ability to follow work instructions from start up to shut down
• Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures including Lock Out Tag Out
• Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend basic English and perform basic math functions including reading a tape measure
• Ability to be self-motivated

Workplace Experience:

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Ergonomic Requirements:

• Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time
• Ability to use Power Tools safely
