RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed medical/surgical unit providing 24/7 nursing care
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5/6
• Float requirements as needed
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) accepted at submission
• No RTO allowed during first two weeks of assignment
• Block schedules not accommodated
• Must have 2+ years of recent med/surg experience
• Epic experience within the last year required
• BLS certification required
• Must have accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE
• Solid black scrubs required
• Care for patients aged 17 and older through geriatric population
• Manage patients with general and surgical needs including general surgery, colorectal surgery, urology, women's health, gynecology, trauma, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, and spinal/neuro cases
• Provide care for obstetrical issues including intra-uterine fetal demise, preeclampsia, hyperemesis, substance abuse withdrawal, and diabetic pregnancies
• Work in fast-paced environment with high patient turnover requiring strong workflow management skills
