POSITION : ELEMENTARY SECRETARY I
Effective 2024-25 School Year
LOCATION : SOUTHDALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
GENERAL INFORMATION : To provide clerical, secretarial and administrative assistance to school administrators at a school site, conveying information regarding school functions and procedures; and supporting the broad array of services provided to students, parents, instructional and support employees; and to coordinate work of other school clerical employees.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List :
- Perform general secretarial duties (i.e. answering phones, relaying messages, schedule meetings, copying, etc.
- Proficiency with tracking and creating reports needed for the department.
- Proficient in computer skills (Google, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite) and interpersonal skills.
- Great attention to detail and prioritizing workloads.
- Maintains confidentiality within all databases and student records.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List :
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of applications necessary to access timely and relevant information and be able to disseminate same.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
SALARY : According to approved Salary Schedule.
