Job Title: Medicare Customer Service Representative / Medicare Member Engagement Representative

Location: Akron, OH, 44305-Onsite

Duration: 3 Months (with possible Extension)

Schedule: Day 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18/hr. on W2

Responsibilities:

• Answer complex Medicare Advantage plan and benefit-related questions via phone and in person.
• Track, follow-up, and assist members at risk for disenrollment to support retention efforts.
• Conduct outreach campaigns aimed at improving member satisfaction and retention.
• Use scripts to assess member needs and provide plan information aligned with their situation.
• Document all member interactions accurately in internal systems.
• Execute plan changes when applicable and appropriate.
• Deliver in-person and virtual presentations about plan benefits to individuals or groups.
• Maintain working knowledge of CMS regulations and Medicare Advantage compliance requirements.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred OR equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service and/or health insurance.

Experience:

• Customer service experience working with Medicare beneficiaries.
• Knowledge of Medicare, plan benefits, insurance compliance, and retention practices .
• Experience giving professional presentations to individuals or groups.
