Position Summary

Assisting with in office tasks including but not limited to: timekeeping corrections and weekly processing. Monitor and maintaining the payroll inbox and MyHR ticketing system. Assisting in manual payment requests, processing, printing and logging. Sorting and distributing mail, mailing pay statements, data entry, and assisting with the proper set up and maintenance of employee records.

What You'll Do As An Administrative Assistant.

  • Timekeeping corrections and processing. Assisting Timekeeping Coordinator when needed.
  • Off cycle payment requests: Assist in gathering paperwork, approvals, printing, acquiring signatures, mail and logging of off cycle payments being requested.
  • Maintaining payroll inbox and MyHR tickets. Coordinating with team members for resolution.
  • Assisting with Supervisor with sending, logging and reporting Overpayments
  • Assist with mail sorting and distribution.
  • Retrieving and mailing employee-paper pay statements and live checks.
  • Updating payroll worksheets with figures for Finance and Cash Management.
  • Review and audit review of post payroll reports along with downloading management controls.
  • Assisting Manager/Supervisor with VeriSafe verification.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One-year general office experience, with specific experience using Microsoft Office products.

Skills:

  • Exhibits exceptional customer service skills; ability to work professionally with employees, and all levels of staff.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and handle deadline pressures.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to audit and analyze data and report trends and outcomes.

Pay range for this opportunity is $35,062.50 - $45,375.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
