Hybrid Electric Test Hardware Asset Lead

GE Renewable Energy Power and Aviation
Cincinnati, OH
Job Description Summary

Reports to the Hybrid Electric Systems Test Manager and is the accountable owner for procurement, logistics, and end-to-end asset lifecycle of test-enabling hardware (TEH).

Places direct and indirect requisitions and manages appropriate P‑card to support test operations; designs, launches, and operates a lightweight inventory system; manages shipping and deployment between sites; runs calibration schedules for instrumentation, DAQ, and test/measurement tools; and maintains configuration control so assets are available to support test schedules.

This role is essential towards the safe and effective execution of GE's suite of ground and flight technology demonstrator vehicles. These demonstrator vehicles serve as foundational platforms for maturing hybrid electric and other technologies central to the realization of the aviation industry's sustainability goals in the first half of the 21st century.
