Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Engineer, where you will plan, manage, and coordinate engineering design work using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for electrical loads. You will assist the Sales team in preparing technical proposals and pricing for engineered orders related to power systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer-supplied specifications, drawings, and one-line diagrams for solution development and cost estimates.

• Design and develop products that offer the best cost and performance.

• Manage design packages and coordinate with the Drafting department.

• Generate test procedures and manuals required with the product.

• Work collaboratively with Assembly, Procurement, and field technicians during build, test, or start-up to resolve any issues.

• Coordinate engineering response and action plans.

• Collaborate with project teams to deliver cost-effective, manufacturable designs.

• Support the maintenance of documentation through engineering change procedures.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Over 3 years of experience in developing and creating new products in the electromechanical product space.

• Experience with OEM electrical design activities, preferably in power design, generation, distribution, or protection.

• Experience working with industrial equipment.

• Knowledge of ERP systems.

• Experience in power conversion, electrical systems, switchgear, utility, electrical construction, substation, and generators.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in designing within the electrical testing space.

• Familiarity with designing to UL, CSA, NEC, and other safety agency requirements.

• Understanding of industrial controls/communication protocols and electrical testing.

Work Environment

Our newly renovated office is conveniently located near the manufacturing facility. As part of your day-to-day tasks, you will work within a project team to deliver cost-effective, manufacturable designs that meet customer requirements. You will also provide updates on project status and timelines for completion. The role offers a collaborative work environment with relocation assistance available. The demand for our products, especially due to the increase in data centers, offers significant growth opportunities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley View, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $63.00/hr.
