Accountant - Senior

Description

As a Senior Accountant, E-Gaming, you will support the E-Gaming business unit in various financial tasks, including preparing general ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and post monthly journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

· Maintain schedules to support contract adjustments made to the E-Gaming financial statements.

· Maintain all contract billing related data in the Company’s ERP system.

· Maintain equipment (CIP) roll-forward schedule to support balance sheet and cash flow activity.

· Using the Company’s global account reconciliation software (OneStream), reconcile G/L accounts at month-end, focusing on ensuring sufficient evidence exists to justify account balances.

· Reconciling intercompany accounts and determining any entries that may need to be recorded. 

· Assist with audit fieldwork in providing sufficient support for journal entries and reconciliations. 

· Engage with all levels of the organization to understand the operations and drive improvement.

· Support the organization in maintaining a work environment focused on quality and that fosters education, open-communication, collaboration, systems integration, and teamwork.

· Other ad-hoc analyses and reports requested from management and/or executive team.

Requirements

Required Experience and Education:

· Education: Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Business Administration

·3+ years of related experience

· Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

· High attention to detail and accountability of work product

· Demonstrates the ability to think and work independently and creatively

· Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management

· Ability to meet deadlines and report progress or concerns

· Ability to work with limited direct supervision

· Maintains confidentiality of corporate and shareholder information

Other Preferred Experience:

· Salesforce.com, Tableau, OneStream

· Experience in a regulated industry i.e., banking, gaming
