**Job Title: Plant Manager**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our production facility, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage a team of 30-35 employees, overseeing production, shipping/receiving, and day-to-day plant operations.
+ Maintain a culture of safety and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
+ Direct and supervise plant personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
+ Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with chemical manufacturing standards.
+ Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to production efficiency and waste reduction.
+ Oversee maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and performance.
+ Collaborate with R&D, EHS, procurement, and quality assurance for new product introductions and process improvements.
+ Manage plant budgets, including cost control and resource allocation.
+ Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and chemicals.
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
**Essential Skills**
+ Bachelor's degree.
+ 7-10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing with 3-5 years in plant or operations management.
+ Strong knowledge of chemical processing technologies and regulatory requirements.
+ Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
+ Leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with batch processing systems.
+ Knowledge of regulatory audits and documentation.

**Work Environment**
This is a first shift position with a 75/25 split between floor and office time in a non-union environment. Hours are 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm. A company cell phone is provided, and occasional after-hours calls are expected. The facility manufactures high-quality liquid pigment systems used in various products, including colorants for caulk and decorative films.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sandusky, OH.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
