Job Description
Assemblers build and test precision electronic and mechanical assemblies, focusing on printed circuit boards, wire harnesses, and small components. This role reads and interprets technical documentation, performs detailed soldering and microscopic assembly work, and ensures all products meet strict quality, performance, and customer specifications. You will work in a clean, climate-controlled environment using specialized tools and equipment to produce high-quality parts with minimal waste and rework.

Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products daily in accordance with established quality specifications and process procedures.
- Perform detailed soldering work on printed circuit boards and wire harnesses, including surface-mount and through-hole components, often under a microscope or other magnifying device.
- Position, align, and clamp parts in jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices to achieve specified relationships and prepare surfaces for soldering and bonding.
- Use a variety of test and assembly equipment, including power supplies, multimeters, leak detection and vacuum systems, pressure generators, volt meters, ohmmeters, ovens, soldering equipment, microscopes, and precision hand tools.
- Measure parts and assemblies to verify tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Perform intermediate assembly tasks including potting, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, and etching of parts and assemblies.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunbury, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $23.00/hr.
