We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for the daily management and servicing of our commercial insurance clients. You will handle renewals, policy changes, certificates of insurance, and client communications, ensuring a high standard of service and client satisfaction. The focus is on servicing and maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.

This role is ideal for an individual early in their career who holds an active Property & Casualty (P&C) license and is eager to grow their knowledge in commercial insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a designated book of commercial lines business, providing excellent day-to-day service to clients.

• Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, audits, and billing inquiries.

• Review policies and coverage to ensure accuracy and appropriateness for client needs.

• Prepare client proposals and coverage summaries in coordination with the producer or senior account manager.

• Coordinate with insurance carriers on behalf of clients to resolve issues and obtain necessary information or documentation.

• Issue certificates of insurance and evidence of property forms in a timely manner.

• Track and manage renewal timelines to ensure timely and complete renewals.

• Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation in agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360, etc.).

• Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide proactive communication throughout the policy term.

Job Requirements:

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License is required .

• 1–3 years of experience in a commercial insurance agency or brokerage setting preferred; recent graduates or career changers with internship or customer service experience in insurance are encouraged to apply.

• Solid understanding of commercial insurance products and services (e.g., General Liability, Property, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, Umbrella).

• Strong communication and client service skills, both verbal and written.

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with agency management systems (experience with Applied Epic, AMS360, or similar a plus).

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• Industry designations (e.g., CISR, CIC, or similar) or willingness to pursue them.
