ROLE DESCRIPTION

AGG is adding a Senior Data Architect to the team on a contract basis to lead a high-impact data architecture workstream and guide strategic engagements with C-suite stakeholders. This role will focus on designing scalable data solutions using Databricks, STAR schema, and data vault modeling, while establishing robust data management frameworks that ensure integrity, performance, and alignment with enterprise goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the management consulting authority for the architecture workstream, identifying and prioritizing tasks for the client. Engage with C-suite executives to ensure alignment and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Utilize Databricks for data processing and analytics, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain data models using techniques such as STAR schema and data vault to facilitate efficient data retrieval and reporting.
• Establish and enforce data management frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the organization.
• Design a scalable data architecture framework and manage groups for Databricks.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• 15 years proven experience in data architecture and data modeling techniques including STAR schema and data vault.
• Proficiency in Databricks and experience with big data technologies.
• Strong understanding of data management frameworks and best practices.
• Background in consulting with a focus on delivering complex data programs and solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to work 75% remote/25% travel

OTHER Must have no other full-time commitments, ready to engage in exciting technical consulting projects with our diverse portfolio of clients.
