JOB TITLE: Maintenance Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non- Exempt

MISSION OF GOODWILL

Goodwill Industries of Northwest Ohio, Inc. is a nonprofit, 501c3 corporation whose mission is to assist individuals with barriers to employment become self-sufficient through employment training and opportunities. Since 1933, we have assisted thousands of individuals throughout Northwest Ohio to become economically independent.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise all maintenance employees.
• Prepare annual budget.
• Prepare budgets and estimates for special projects
• Coordinate special projects for all locations with any or all-executive staff.
• Order and purchase supplies and equipment to repair or replace maintenance issues
• Safety train individuals within department
• Perform safety audits at each location.
• Repair, replace or remodel all components at each individual location
• Maintain records of supplies, and internal and external repairs.

Qualifications:

• Must have four years experience in carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing.
• Must have a working knowledge of H.V.A.C. systems.
• Two years managerial experience.
• Good driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Good communication skills
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance.
• Office organizational skills.
• Limited computer knowledge.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays or when needed.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. consistently.

Supervision Received:

· Finance Director

· President/CEO

· Retail Vice President

· Industrial contracts Director

Supervision Exercised:

· Assistant Maintenance Supervisor.

· Any employee assigned to maintenance Department.
