Position: Local CDL-A Truck Driver

Location: Van Buren, OH

Average Annual Pay: $75,400

Average Weekly Pay: $1,450

Home Time: Daily

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday | 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM Start

Compensation Overview

• $0.67 CPM
• $3,000 sign-on bonus
• $20/hour detention pay
• $15/hour breakdown pay
• $25 hazmat pay per load
• $140 holiday pay per day
• $250/day new hire training pay

Schedule & Home Time

• Home daily
• Tuesday – Saturday schedule
• Permanent night position
• Start time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 10–14 hour shifts
• Works most holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas

• No-touch freight
• 85% drop and hook
• Day cab equipment
• 53 ft trailers
• Slip-seat operation
• Truck remains at account during time off

Operating Area

• Local runs within 300 miles of Van Buren, OH
• Longer local routes and multi-stop local routes
• Average 10 loads per week
• Average 8–11 stops per week

Job Duties

• Deliver retail freight from distribution center to store locations
• Handle vendor pick-ups returning to the distribution center
• Pick up and deliver backhaul freight after outbound deliveries
• Support other local or intermodal accounts as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3 months CDL-A tractor-trailer experience
• Must be comfortable working a permanent night shift
• Must be available for Tuesday – Saturday schedule
• Must be able to support additional local or intermodal work when needed
