Responsibilities:

§ Believe in the ability to positively impact clients' lives, demonstrating empathy and compassion.

§ Consistently implement client care plans and assessments to provide tailored, high-quality care.

§ Stay alert to changes in clients' behavior or health, promptly notifying The Journey Ahead Home Care Agency personnel if necessary.

§ Provide attentive and empathetic care for clients, assisting with personal care tasks, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship.

§ Proficiency in personal and companion care duties, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene.

§ Maintain patient care records and document provided services accurately.

§ Offer companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.

§ Exhibit a strong attendance record, showcasing reliability and commitment to the role.

§ Clock in and out of every shift accurately using the appropriate systems.

§ Ensure clients' safety, security, and dignity in a comfortable environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

§ Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards.

§ Caring and compassionate personality.

§ Pre-Employment Physical Clearance.

§ Tuberculosis Test.

§ BLS or CPR Certification.

§ First Aid Certification.

§ Proof of automobile insurance.

§ Reliable transportation (not necessary) and clean driving record.
