Are you someone who enjoys building strong relationships and helping contractors get the right materials for the job? Were looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Contractor Salesperson to join our hardware store team in Harbor, Oregon.

What Youll Do:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and professional customers

• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and special orders

• Prepare quotes, bids, and take-off support for contractor projects

• Coordinate with purchasing and yard staff to ensure timely order fulfillment

• Follow up on orders to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction

• Stay knowledgeable about products, vendors, and industry trends

Education and Experience:

• High School Graduate or Vocational School Graduate.

• At least two years experience in building materials/hardware industry.

• Experience: Sales and marketing experience with retail programs, establishing relationships, and working with customers .

• Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word, and Excel is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task

• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

• The yard environment is characterized by the presence of noise, vehicular fumes and other elements found in a yard environment. Exposure to varying weather conditions including temperature extremes and precipitation.
