FRST Full-time Dispatcher
Description:
FRS Transportation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual for a full-time Dispatcher position. This role is responsible for answering calls and coordinating transportation services for Highland, Brown, and Adams counties. The ideal candidate is organized, able to handle a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Schedule and dispatch transportation requests efficiently
- Communicate with drivers to coordinate daily operations
- Maintain accurate records using dispatch software and Microsoft Office
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- Manage multiple tasks and interruptions with professionalism and accuracy
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
- Strong typing, data entry, and basic math skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Experience handling confidential information in accordance with HIPAA
- Ability to work with difficult individuals or situations in a calm, respectful manner
- Previous dispatch experience is a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a BCI/FBI background check
- Must pass a drug screening
