Schedule

• Monday – Thursday
• 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Overtime frequently required

Pay Rate

• $24–$28 per hour , based on experience
• Maintenance Technician I & II levels considered
• 10% shift differential for night shift

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform timely equipment changeovers in accordance with production schedules
• Complete preventive maintenance on assigned machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems
• Assist with equipment rebuilds, upgrades, and improvement projects
• Support production operators with equipment setup and troubleshooting
• Make repairs as directed by Engineering and Maintenance leadership
• Requisition parts, components, and supplies as needed
• Train plant personnel on equipment operation and maintenance processes
• Follow OSHA, SDS, and all company safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining packing or production machinery
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with:
• Electrical systems
• Pneumatic systems
• Mechanical systems
• Plumbing and pipefitting
• Experience in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to provide own tools
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform physically demanding tasks including bending, climbing, and reaching
• Stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours at a time)
