Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze raw material requirements and place purchase orders aligned with short and longterm production forecasts
• Partner with external manufacturing firms to support new product designs and prototyping efforts
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide pricing quotes, component availability, and procurement support
• Coordinate resolution of overshipments, shortshipments, incorrect materials, and rejected or defective parts
• Select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and overall production objectives

Education and Experience

• Associates Degree in Business, Purchasing, or Production Operations Management or completion of one or more ASCM courses (CPIM and/or CSCP recommended)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with ERP systems

• Ability to read and interpret detailed material specifications
• Effective communication skills with internal teams and external suppliers
• Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn departmental systems
• Ability to organize records, manage priorities, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
