OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Lorain, OH by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

HMD Trucking wants experienced OTR solo CDL‑A dry van drivers launching from the Lorain area to carry dry‑van freight nationwide. Drivers can expect long‑haul schedules with mileage pay starting at 65 CPM and weekly totals around 2,500 miles.

Core responsibilities:

• Safely operate and inspect dry van tractor‑trailers on interstate routes and handle securement of freight.
• Keep accurate ELD and trip records, coordinate with dispatch, and meet customer delivery expectations.
• Uphold DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
