Job Summary:

Renaissance Services operates the “Rapid Cast Part - Center of Excellence” where it provides small quantities of parts made from castings for sustaining legacy systems as well as new development. The customers include the US Air Force as well as the aerospace prime contractors.

As part of providing rapid cast parts, Renaissance addresses three key areas:

• Reverse Engineering - Renaissance takes legacy parts that lack design data and creates the technical data package, including models, drawings, and specifications.
• Additive Manufacturing - Renaissance uses ceramic additive manufacturing to create casting molds, greatly reducing the time and cost to create small quantities of castings.
• Supply Chain Production - Renaissance works with its rapid casting network of multiple foundries and machining suppliers to produce the small quantity of parts.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team during an exciting phase of growth and transformation in aerospace manufacturing. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on collaboration, continuous improvement, and making a tangible impact.

Responsibilities:

Supplier Management

• Identify, qualify, and onboard candidate suppliers.
• Create and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotes) ensuring all technical and commercial requirements are met.
• Review quotations and issue complete PO packages to selected suppliers, including follow-up and completion for signature approvals.
• Resolve PO-related issues and secure supplier acceptance through formal acceptance and sign-off.
• Source and procure indirect goods and services.

Collaboration & Compliance

• Serve as the commercial point of contact with customers and suppliers to ensure all transactions meet internal compliance standards.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance and progress, addressing any potential impacts on schedule or cost.
• Track status on all procurement documents and provide monthly status reports to management.
• Track and manage complaints about suppliers, ensuring feedback is documented for future RFQ reference. Elevate any non-compliance issues with management as necessary to quickly resolve issues.
• Maintain a supplier database, including capabilities and certifications.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stock aligns with production needs.
• Support implementation of AS9100 quality management systems and participate in audits and assessments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement in aerospace industry
• Certifications related to Association for Supply Chain Management, International Society of Logistics, or project management preferred.
• Proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under tight deadlines.
• Must be current US citizen.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and/or other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.
• Strong knowledge of ERPs and CRMs.
• Use of online teleconferencing software (e.g., Teams).
• Hybrid work schedule with 2 days in office per week and up to 20% travel to customer and supplier sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
