Data Center Operations Technician

Pay Rate: Up to $22.63/hour

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts required
• Alternating weekly schedule:
  • Front-Half Days: Sunday–Tuesday (and every other Wednesday)
  • Back-Half Days: Wednesday (or Thursday)–Saturday
• Day and Night positions available
• Note: Schedules may change based on business needs, including extended shifts (up to 12 hours), night shifts, or other adjustments. Changes will be communicated in advance when possible.

Role Overview

As a Data Center Operations Technician , you will maintain the hardware infrastructure supporting cutting-edge cloud computing technologies. This role requires strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues through root cause analysis.

You’ll work with servers, network devices, and Linux-based systems, using command-line tools and diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair server and network hardware issues
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate effectively across teams to maintain operational excellence
• Ensure compliance with physical and security requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with computer hardware
• 1+ year experience with computer networking
• 1+ year experience with Linux operating systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs (reasonable accommodations available)
• Work in elevated locations as needed

This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.

The pay range for this position is $22.63 - $22.63/hr.
