Landscape Technician

Compensation: Starting Pay: $18/hr + (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Construction & Installation: Install patios, walkways, retaining walls, water features and other outdoor living spaces.
• Planting & Gardening: Plant trees, shrubs, and perennials with precision and care.
• Landscape Enhancement: Prepare and install new landscape beds, ensuring a clean and polished look.
• Maintenance & Upkeep: Mulch, weed, and prune to keep landscapes pristine.
• Equipment Operation: Use and maintain landscaping tools and machinery safely and efficiently, including mini excavator, skid steer, mini skid steer, trucks, trailers, hand tools and more.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard of excellence.
• Quality Control: Inspect all work for quality to ensure client satisfaction and eliminate the need for repeat site visits.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and pride in a job well done.
• Learning Attitude: A willingness to learn, improve and grow.
• Outdoor Passion: A love for working outdoors in all types of weather.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to lift 50 pounds and handle hands-on labor.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, able to understand and follow instructions.
• Dependability: Reliability and commitment to completing assigned tasks.
• Experience: Landscape maintenance or construction experience is preferred. However, work ethic and attitude can't be taught, and we will train the right individual the skills needed to be successful in this position!

Work Environment:

• Physical Demands: Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Work Pace: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Manual Dexterity: Requires good manual dexterity.
• Stamina: Excellent stamina is required.
• Work Setting: Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles. Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
• Schedule: Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work.
