Are you someone who thrives on data-driven decision-making and enjoys untangling the complexities of employee benefits? We’re looking for a Benefits Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for a benefits professional who brings both analytical expertise and hands-on experience with open enrollment and benefits strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret benefits data to support program design, compliance, and cost management

• Assist in the administration and optimization of health, wellness, retirement, and other employee benefit programs

• Support annual open enrollment activities, including system testing, communications, and employee support

• Collaborate with HR, payroll, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely benefits processing

• Monitor and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA, HIPAA)

• Prepare reports and dashboards to track benefits utilization and trends

• Respond to employee inquiries and resolve complex benefits issues

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of benefits-related experience

• Preferred: 2+ years of experience specifically as a Benefits Analyst

• Strongly Preferred: Experience supporting open enrollment processes

• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or Business Administration

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
