Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, OH – Hybrid Schedule 2 days in office

Department: Network Engineering

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team with a primary focus on supporting our Managed Wi-Fi services. This role will be responsible for provisioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting Wi-Fi infrastructure—specifically Aruba equipment—while also providing support to the Ethernet Services and Access teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Managed Wi-Fi (Primary Focus)

• Configure, provision, and deploy Aruba access points and controllers
• Perform software and firmware updates across Managed Wi-Fi infrastructure
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi performance issues and resolve customer connectivity problems
• Monitor system health and maintain proper documentation of configurations and changes

Ethernet Services & Access (Secondary Support)

• Assist with provisioning and maintenance of Ethernet services, primarily Juniper PTX 10K platforms
• Provide support for MPLS core using Nokia 7750 and Nokia 7210 equipment
• Collaborate with the Access team on escalated issues or capacity needs
• Participate in cross-functional projects to support service delivery and customer initiatives

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Aruba WiFi infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols, including VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
• Familiarity with Juniper PTX and Nokia 7750/7210 preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or equivalent certifications a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with network monitoring and ticketing systems
• Scripting or automation (Python, Ansible) a plus
• Understanding of service provider environments and customer-facing operations
