Design Center Specialist – Window & Door

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Robert McCabe Company, Inc., DBA McCabe Lumber located in Loveland , OH , a leader in the Building Material and Lumber Industry, is looking for a motivated Design Specialist to focus on window, door, and millwork sales. We need someone with a passion for design to help customers realize their vision and ensure they have an exceptional experience with us. As a Design Specialist at McCabe Lumber, you will use manufacturer design tools to help customers see the best products available for their project and collaborate with them on their selection making process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design consultations with Millwork customers
• Utilize design & marketing tools to create product quotations and orders
• Implement effective sales strategies to capitalize on opportunities
• Assist showroom customers with product features and benefits

· Educate customers and team members on new industry trends and products

· Follow company guidelines for marketing of products and services

· Place product/material orders, track receipt and delivery of product

· Follow up with customers and provide service after the sale

Job Requirements

•Prior knowledge of Window & Door Sales is required, additional consideration for specific knowledge with Andersen, Jeld Wen, Therma-Tru, and Masonite Brands

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are a must
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and vendors
• Strong computer skills and the ability to master new software programs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
