Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising clients on insurance solutions, generating new business, and servicing existing accounts while maintaining compliance with Ohio insurance regulations. This role requires an active Ohio Property & Casualty insurance license or the ability to obtain one within a defined timeframe.

Key Responsibilities

Sell and service Property & Casualty insurance products, including auto, homeowners, renters, and commercial policies

Identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions

Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and lead follow-up

Manage and grow a personal book of business

Prepare quotes, bind coverage, and process policy endorsements and renewals

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in agency management systems and CRM tools

Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries and resolving issues

Stay current on carrier guidelines, underwriting requirements, and product offerings

Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Insurance regulations and agency standards

Compensation & Benefits

This position has a salary range of $55,000-$60,000.

Skills and Requirements

Active Ohio Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)

1+ years of experience in insurance sales or customer service

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Sales-driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed production goals
