The Education Department at Wittenberg University seeks to hire a full-time, professor of practice beginning August 1, 2026. Teaching responsibilities include courses in both the undergraduate and graduate program in Education. In addition to teaching this position will serve as the Director of Graduate Studies in Education.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses required for teaching and supervisor state licensure. Although first and foremost a teaching position, this position requires promise for engagement in professional activity and service to Wittenberg's campus and to one's academic community.

A Doctorate in Education is required; candidates who are ABD working toward Ph.D/EdD. completion will be considered. Candidates are required to have a minimum of five years of relevant work experience. Candidates must have a strong commitment and interest in teaching in the liberal arts and sciences context.
