Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in one or more settings: schools, home health, teletherapy, or healthcare environments
- Understanding of IEP processes and strong documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication with students, families, and educational teams
- Adaptability to new environments and willingness to support diverse student needs
- Tech proficiency for teletherapy assignments (if applicable)
What You'll Do:
- Evaluate and assess students’ occupational therapy needs in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Deliver direct intervention—either in-person or virtually—to help students increase participation and success in school routines
- Consult with educators and families to ensure therapy strategies carry over into classrooms and home environments
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Attend and contribute to team meetings, providing expert OT input
